Slick 65 is a ceramic hybrid ceramic spray wax and waterless wash designed for show cars. Slick 65 emulsifies dust and reduces the likelihood of scratching while wiping down the car. slick 65 can be used in direct sunlight and provides shine to every surface on the vehicle, and cleans glass. Slick 65 can be used on any existing protective coating, and can be used as a drying aide during a normal car wash process. it can be diluted to user preference. Slick 65 is not designed to add paint protection or hydrophobic properties, it is a gloss enhancer and easy detailer for when you are at the car show. 

Slick 65 is named after the special truck pictured on this label. The Slick 65 is a 1965 ford F100, and is owned by Phil and Nicole Anderson of Reno, Nevada. This truck was owned by Phil's Grandpa Jack, and was used as a daily driver. The Slick 65 joined the Nighthawk family by pure chance in 2023. Phil happened to follow our social media. We noticed it was a qualifying truck for the championship series in a world renowned car show. We got ahold of Phil, who allowed us the privilege to detail his classic truck for the competition. Phil did not know us, and we did not know Phil.

To this point only Phil and his wife had touched the Slick65 after its restoration. Phil gave us a chance when no one else would. With Phil’s help we worked until 2 am on the morning of the competition to get the truck detailed in time. Just two normal guys in a garage, no big money, and a truck that was built, not bought. Phil and the Slick 65 were awarded the People’s Choice Champion for 2023 in that show.

Phil and his truck have gone on to win many car shows since then. The Slick 65 is the pride of our company and brand, and embodies everything we represent, and living proof that even the little guys can do big things. If not for Phil the doors that have opened for us as a company would not have opened. Grandpa Jack bought the truck to drive everyday. He probably did not know it would serve that purpose, then go on to be the award winning show truck that it is, and the foundational building blocks of a small and growing car care products company.

If Grandpa Jack were here today there is no doubt he would be proud of Phil and everything he has done with his old truck. It is our honor to honor him, and the Anderson family by naming the Slick 65 as our number one sponsored truck for life, and dedicating this product to the Slick 65 and Grandpa Jack’s legacy which is the entire Anderson Family.

Shake Well

WATERLESS WASH/QUICK DETAILER

Spray a generous amount directly onto the desired surface, and onto a microfiber towel.

Wipe the towel across the surface in one direction. Change the face of the towel on each pass, and re-apply Quick Detailer to the clean face of the towel. Repeat the process until the area is clean. Only work one panel at a time. The process is the same for cleaning a Polycarbonate UTV Windshield. DO NOT USE A CIRCULAR MOTION.

PAD LUBRICANT/CLAY LUBRICANT

Spray a generous amount directly onto the buffer pad prior to applying polish, re-apply as needed. For clay lubricant spray a generous amount of Slick 65 onto the surface prior to use of the clay bar.

DRYING AIDE

Spray onto the vehicle surface while its wet. Wipe away with a Nighthawk Brand Drying Towel until the surface is glossy, dry and slick.
